"To be able to enjoy the little time you have left with your beloved pet, knowing you have the support and advice you need, will make a world of difference in how you remember your special friend and these last treasured moments". Just knowing and feeling reassured you are giving your furry companion only the best specialist treatment and care at the end, is what our dedicated in-home service is all about.

Our specially trained hospice and palliative care vet, Dr Suzen Gregersen, MRCVS says: "As one of the very first hospice vets in the UK, with over 9000 home consultations over 10 years behind me, I have seen many times that it is more than possible that you can actually enjoy this special time, without the worries of not knowing what is best for your pet towards the end. How can I sound so convinced that this is possible, when there is SO much to worry and think about? Well, because I have, as an end-of-life vet, personally seen pets and their owners or families have just this; a very beautiful experience at the end so many, many times over the years. On these very last home consultations, we have been able to actually surprise owners and families with just how beautiful a dreaded goodbye can be, when everything is catered for and well-planned, down to the very last detail. This allows for you to just be in the moment with your pet while we take care of all the practicalities and worries. To us it's a real privilege and an honour to be invited in to help give this kind of goodbye to a much loved family pet".

If you would like to have your pet join our special VIP programme when the time left becomes limited and where we help you give only the very best possible send off at the end, please get in touch or make an appointment so we immediately can start helping you look after your special furry companion at this difficult time. We are ready to help you look after your pets every need, around the clock if need be, and help to make this time a very cherished time.

Should you just need us "for that one last time", we can help you too as you do not have to be registered with us (unless you would like the security of our VIP priority guarantee on urgent call outs) should you have already reached this decision - we will of course help make it a truly beautiful (however sad) experience either way."

"I have chosen to work with the adorable "golden oldies" or "sunset pets" in their own home, simply because I love and adore animals and want to help as many pets as I can in this truly amazing way. You only get one chance to get this time right - one very special last time. Don't they just deserve only the best at the end after all they give us?"

We have different tailored care plans you can sign your pet up to and we will help you with all your worries at this challenging time.

Vets2Home offer you the possibility to have your worries shared and addressed with experts in our field and it all starts with an un-hurried In-Home Quality-of-Life Consultation (1-2hr) always with Dr. Suzen Gregersen, our Hospice Vet. On this home consultation, we will make sure all your concerns about your pet (and your ability to provide the necessary care) are addressed including a clinical examination (as needed) and all possible options are openly discussed before any decisions are made about which next step suits you and your pet the best.

Urgent and pre-booked appointments are available anytime daytime, evenings and weekends (at same rate if pre-booked) but advance booking is recommended for specific times as appointments are subject to general availability and fitted around our more urgent calls.
